What book would you recommend for a new reader?

24 years old, looking to get into reading more. Never really read much in the past but i know it will help my intellect esp me being in college. Usually when i get the urge to read i start to read a few chapters then quit. Dont really know what im interested in but i lovvvvvvvvve sports. what do u recommend??
