How should i transport my ball python?

im driving to seattle from LA, the first day im driving about 6 hours from LA to oakland. then im driving the next day oakland to seattle so like 12 hours. im bringing my ball python an im wondering how i should transport it. im gonna have the terrarium in the back of my suv on a doggie bed to keep it from getting jostled around etc. but im wondering how i should keep it warm... i was thinking about keeping it on a heated seat but i dunno... if i wrap the terrarium up in blankets and have the heater on the whole way will it be ok? is there something else i can do?
