Is it just me, or are they just not that good? ?

Ok, growing up my hubby and I had 2 different views of White Castle burgers. My tastes tend toward the eclectic, or gourmet, so I thought they were just alright. My hubby on the other hand goes nuts with the mention of those bite-size teasers! I don't see what he sees in them, but millions of Americans can't be wrong, so what am I missing? Is there anyone else that thinks they're "just burgers" or am I severely misrepresenting a culinary masterpiece?
