How do some people ume that Mahatma Gandhi is a Muslim?

i don't know. some people are really ignorant. they think indians are muslims. pakistan has muslims but not india. i have friends who think turbans= muslim. if people knew more now a days they'd know indians are either sikh or hindu. religions that believe in many gods, as where islam believes in one. i was sitting with a friend one day after school and there was a guy across from us talking to another one of my friends and he was wearing a turban. my friend jokingly said "his names probably mohammed" and i thought why would it be mohammed? he is obviously sikh, he isn't muslim. but i asked the kid what his name was and it was "mohit" and he said "close enough" and laughed. some people need to smarten up. they see anyone with brown skin and ume middle eastern and muslim. idk!!
