Muffled sound on PA speaker Samson DB500A?

Sam - It sounds like the tweeter in the Samson is blown. The Samson is a perfectly good speaker and will produce a nice sound just like the JBL. If it sounds that bad, I'll bet the tweeter is damaged. You will need to call Samson to get it repaired.
